We are a small, family-owned organic farm in Chipman, New Brunswick — home to one of eastern Canada's largest sea buckthorn orchards and our own boutique fruit winery.
Every berry on our farm is grown without pesticides, hand-harvested at peak ripeness, and processed within hours of being picked. That short journey from branch to bottle is what makes our juice, oil, and powder so potent.
We're certified organic by Canada Organic, certified kosher, and proud members of the Boyce Farmers Market in Fredericton every Saturday.
Clary Bartlett & Beth Fowler
Big Sky Ventures was started in 2011 by Clary Bartlett and Beth Fowler, two lifelong New Brunswickers who fell in love with sea buckthorn after seeing what this hardy little berry could do for soil, climate, and human health. They put the very first seedlings in the ground on their family land in Chipman that spring — by hand, one row at a time.
More than a decade later, Clary and Beth still work the orchard every day alongside their family. They oversee every harvest, every cold-press, and every bottle of wine that leaves the farm — guided by a simple belief that the most nourishing food is the food you grow yourself, with patience and care, under a very big sky.
